A tomahawk
The Tomahawk is a war axe of the North American Indians. The first of these weapons were made with a stone head attached to a wooden handle, and after the arrival of Europeans, tomahawk heads often were made of iron obtained in trade. Some tomahawks had a spike or hammer on the side opposite the blade, others were used as tobacco smoking pipes, with handles and hollowed heads..
